1. There is something called a death curse slowly killing anyone who has been raised from the dead, and trapping the souls of the recently deceased, preventing them from reaching their destinations, and preventing the dead from being brought back with magic.
2. This curse seems to be coming from a place called Omu, somewhere in the Ollianerb island chain.
Rumors
1. From Gigi (Momo's half sister) - There's a young woman named Azaka Stormfang in Port Nyzanru. She's an accomplished guide, but has been drinking herself under the table for the past few days in an Inn in the Harbor Ward. Azaka won't stop talking about a family heirloom stolen by the Pterafolk of Firefinger.
2. From Scipio, Monty's pirate friend - Zindar the harbormaster of Port Nyzanru is looking for 3 pirate ships, the Dragonfang, the Emerald Eye, and the Stirge. There is a 2000 gold bounty per ship brought into port, with a 500 gold bonus for the captains. Scipio will provide directions to a pirate anchorage if the party will help her find someone named Artus Climber for a contact of hers.
3. Philomenon writes to Maxwell, asking him to procure the ancient songs of the wise guardian of Orolunga.
4. The Sea called to Fi Fi, presenting her with a message in a bottle, originally intended for one of the merchant lords of the city. "Jessamine, I hope this letter finds you well. The Star Goddess will be traveling from Le Osap, stopping in Port Nyzanru on it's way to Sivart. I expect you will want to see it, as an airship of it's quality hasn't flown for some years."
5. Rongle Dopp sent a rumor to Chimis. Per Rongle Dopp, Arch-Duchess Karemena of the Sea Elves covets a gem that is embedded in the shell of King Toba, a giant snapping turtle residing in Snapping Turtle Bay. Anyone who acquires this gem for her will be owed a boon.
6. Richmon Zamarko sent a message to Khamilyionaire Q, informing her of a number of treasure hunters discussing a city that lies up the river Tath, past Kahakla Gorge. The city is supposed to be under the guard of a wise and generous Naga.
7. Elf-Dad (Stugg's priest mentor), reached out to him, informing him that Undril Silvertusk, a priest of their order, will arrive shortly, and require escort to a place known as Camp Vengeance.
